What we ask for, why the ferry company needs it, and what never reaches our servers at all.

What we collect

Only what a ticket on an international crossing needs. For every passenger: full name, nationality, passport number, date of birth, passport expiry date and gender. For the lead passenger, once: an email address and a phone number.

We do not use tracking cookies and we run no analytics, so nothing is collected about you simply for reading the site.

Why we need it

Passport details are what the ferry company requires to issue a ticket, and immigration on both sides checks them against the person boarding. The email address and phone number are how we reach you about your crossing: the reference, the confirmation, and anything that changes on the day.

Where it goes

  • To our own booking channel, where the people arranging your ticket can see it.
  • To the ferry company, because the ticket is issued in their system and in your name.
  • Nowhere else. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Payments

Card numbers never reach our servers. Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and the details you type go to Stripe rather than to us. We see that a payment succeeded, not the card it was made with. Your booking is recorded before the payment step, so nothing about paying depends on us holding those digits.

Arranging a payment over WhatsApp means messaging our own account, not a third party acting for us. What you send us there we can read, and WhatsApp carries it under its own terms.

How long we keep it

Until your crossing has happened and anything still open on it, such as a refund, is settled. Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will, unless a ticket has already been issued in your name and the ferry company needs them kept.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp through the contact link on the booking page and say which booking reference it concerns.
