Arriving at Shuitou pier on Kinmen

Where the ferry from Xiamen and Quanzhou lands on Kinmen, what happens at the pier, and the map links for Shuitou. Thirty minutes from Wutong.

Both mainland routes land at Shuitou pier on the southwest corner of Kinmen. From Wutong the crossing is 30 minutes; from Shihu near Quanzhou it is 60. You clear Taiwanese immigration in the terminal building at the pier, so the boat time is not the whole journey.

What you need on arrival

  • Your passport, matching the name on the ticket.
  • The Taiwan Arrival Card, filled in online before you sail.
  • Whatever your nationality needs to enter Taiwan. Entry rules differ by passport and are not something we can answer for you.

Going back

The return sailings are a separate booking and a separate set of fares: CNY 140 in standard class leaving Kinmen against CNY 159 leaving the mainland. The same rules apply in reverse, so plan on being back at Shuitou 90 minutes before the boat, and fill in the China Digital Arrival Card before you sail, since that leg enters the mainland.
